Fiber cut - Loss of redundancy Wednesday 26th October 2022 10:57:19

Due to a fiber cut, our customers connected to BRUEVE and BRUFIN have lost their redundancy to the Belnet network. Our teams are going on site to restore full connectivity. Belnet customers can contact our Service Desk at 02 790 33 00. We apologize for the inconvenience.

A temporary work-around is now in place. Full connectivity is restored. Our teams are still working to repair the damaged fiber and provide a definitive solution.

Fiber cut has been located and our technicians are implementing a workaround to restore the full connectivity. No ETR at this moment

Our technicians and the fiber engineers are still troubleshooting to find the exact location of the fiber cut

The technicians were in contact with the supervisor of the construction workers who are on their way to provide access

The fibercut has been detected near the finto building. Unfortunately it is located on a construction side where the manhole is covered by cointainers/trashbins. We are still waiting to be allowed to start to work on this place. No precise ETR yet.

Despite what was expected, the precise place of the fiber cut is still not found. The operator's team are still investigating and trying to reach the fiber cut point.

The engineer is on site. A more precise ETR will be provided soon.

The provider's team is on its way to solve the fiber cut. ETR: 20h00.
