Fiber cut between Charleroi & Mons Monday 23rd June 2025 15:05:12


Due to a fiber cut, customers connected to Rin_South_CECI and Rin_South_CECI_2 have temporarily lost their redundancy. There is currently no service impact. We are closely monitoring the situation and working diligently to restore full redundancy as soon as possible. Belnet customers can contact our Belnet Support at 02 790 33 00. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Technicians are on site and are repairing the severed cable.

Due to difficulties in accessing the severed part of the fiber, technicians will continue repairs in a few hours with all the appropriate equipment.
