Incident in PoP BRUSOU Tuesday 6th November 2018 12:15:00


One of our routers at our Point of Presence BRUSOU (Brussels South) is currently unstable. All customers connected to R1.BRUSOU are impacted (connection down if no redundancy). Our teams are working on a solution. Belnet customers can contact our Service Desk at 02 790 33 00.

After a complex troubleshooting with our suppliers , we didn't find any wrong config nor defect hardware. A switchover on the backup routing-engine resolved the issue. We performed a second switchover to determine if the routing-engine was defect but everything went up. So the situation is normal (primary routing engine) and everything is working fine again. We are waiting the analysis by our supplier of the collected core dumps and logs to identify the root cause. More details will follow and an Incident report will be provided as of next week. 06/11/2018 18:30

Our teams are still working together with our suppliers in order to resolve the incident.

We have logged this incident with the highest priority at our Service Integrator. Belnet is also in direct contact with the vendor of the hardware. 3rd line engineers are working continuously to resolve this issue ASAP.
