Fiber cut between our PoP HASDIE and PoP LEUGAS Wednesday 16th October 2019 08:28:00

We actually have a fiber cut between PoP HASDIE (Hasselt) and PoP LEUGAS (Leuven). Our teams are working on the issue to fix it as soon as possible. Belnet customers can contact our Service Desk at 02 790 33 00. We apologize for the inconvenience.

All alarms are cleared in our monitoring system and from Belnet side incident is now resolved. Please contact our Service Desk at 02 790 33 00 in case you should still experience any problems.

The fiber is repaired and the impacted services are again operational.

Works to repair fiber are in progress. As a first estimation it should be finished around 18h00.

The location of the fiber cut is known but is not easily accessible (middenberm on the autoway). It will take sometimes to repair the fiber and we do not have an ETR for the moment.
