Fiber cut Thursday 7th January 2021 11:04:00


Due to a fiber cut, our customers connected to PoP LIESEG have lost their connectivity to the Belnet network. Our teams are going on site. Belnet customers can contact our Service Desk at 02 790 33 00. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The fiber is repaired and the impacted services are operational again with full redundancy. Please contact our Service Desk at 02 790 33 00 in case you should still experience any problems. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Fiber cut location have been found. Line provider teams are working to fix it. The Estimated Repair Time communicated by the Fiber Repair Team is 19h00.

We are impacted by a double fiber cut. One is located between Landen and LIESEG and a second between LIESEG and Diepembeek. The fiber repair team is already on the first location to check the line. From our side redundancy is working and services are available. Please inform our Service Desk at 02 790 33 00 in case you should still experience problems.

PoP router is back online and services available again. Belnet teams are investigating the root cause of the incident.
