Fiber cut between HASDIE and HASCEN Tuesday 11th January 2022 12:27:06


Due to a fiber cut between our POPs in Hasselt (HASDIE and HASCEN), some of our customers connected to these POPs have lost their connectivity or their redundancy to the Belnet network. Our teams are working with our providers to solve this as quickly as possible. Belnet customers can contact our Service Desk at 02 790 33 00. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The fiber is repaired. All services are now restored.

Our technicians are still busy. The Estimated Time to Repair is between 19:30 an 20:00 this evening.

Our technician still working on site. We still don't have any ETR.

The issue has been identified. The technicians will implement a temporary solution as soon as possible by replacing part of the cable. This will take a few hours. Later they will do the full repair it's means replacement of 100 m of cable. No ETR planned.

A technician is on road to site. The ETR is fixed for 3h. But we try to do the best to repair more faster.
