Fiber cut Between Geel and Antcen Friday 18th February 2022 11:52:00


Due to a fiber cut, some our customers connected in Geel and Antcen have lost their connectivity to the Belnet network. Our teams are going on site. Belnet customers can contact our Service Desk at 02 790 33 00. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The fiber is repaired. All services are now restored.

Due to unexpected complications the ETR is postponed to 17:00.

The repair work is started again. The estimate time of repair is 15:00.

We expect the storm to be over by midnight and then the repairs will continue if all safety is guaranteed on site.

Our supplier informed us that their engineers on site are endangered by the storm. They have to leave the place to stay safe. The repair works will restart when the storm is over in this place. We apologise for any inconvenience, but as you will understand, the safety of our teams and those of our suppliers is our main concern.

Our supplier team is still busy with the repair of the fiber. No estimate time of repair yet.

The fiber cut has been located. The teams are going on site to repair.
